  For the Translation Project...

Okay, so I have too much time on my hands. Or something. And it's only an initial effor, after all. Gotta do something silly to remind myself what I'm really here for. And perl -c doesn't choke on it.

Though Unca' Al prolly would've.

Ok, what is this? I am not a computer person, I feel I am missing some of the funny part of this post...

Well, yes, this does come from the realm of the hyper-obscure. It's the start of a translation of Liber AL into Perl, the computer scripting language. Very silly, very funny. After all, they've translated the Bible into Klingon, so this seems only reasonable.

I don't think Uncle Al's code would have run, if his Greek is any indication.

    Call me a cynic.

      Okay, you're a cynic. :)

Wow, that's pretty cool. Is Perl a more 'Thelemite-ish' lingo than say Java?

Anyway, I guess somone should come up w/ an obscure perl way to do greetings!
