The PRIESTESS Love is the law, love under will.

Kneeling, she takes the Lance, between her open hands, and runs them up and down the shaft eleven times, very gently.
Be the Lord present among us!
The PRIEST So mote it be. (Gives Lance to Priestess to hold.)
The Priest takes the ewer and sprinkles the Priestess, making five crosses, forehead, shoulders, and thighs. The Priest takes the censer and makes five crosses, as before. He kneels for a space in adoration, with joined hands, knuckles closed, thumb between index and medius. He rises. (Priestess returns Lance to Priest, and takes cup and paten.)
