One man wave of cinematic electronica from Northumbria. Has so far produced five full length albums.
Whatever it means to Ace of Space it means capturing the moment, just like taking a photograph or snapshot, in musical terms. These eclectic collections are a mixture of old school electronica and guitar instrumentals and atmospheric soundtrack work.

This is a solemn dedication to a dear beloved sister who quietly passed away in 2016 after a long illness. Also to the people involved in her palliative care, her family and friends who helped her on her journey. The distance between us never stopped us talking to each other about what was happening to her, we made check lists, issued directions, recalled the happy and sad events in our lives. I learned new things and re-learned things I’d forgotten about. On my visits we packed books and art works to be given away, added to those check lists, made food from our youth, reminisced some more, I became the artist's assistant and we walked on shorelines and footpaths of her favourite places without fuss or complications. These simple things were her signals of reassurance.
Magick, Music and Ritual 12 - Ace of Space - Day One
Day One
(Ace of Space/Paul Le Hat)
Written not long after visiting my sister for the last time. Despite grief, despite loss and despite the sadness, this was my way of reflecting hope and light. I know my sister would never want any of us to be mournful for long, if at all. Following a humanist service we celebrated her life with good food, fine drink, song and laughter in the heart of the Dorset countryside. Day One was my response.

Heugh Lighthouse
(Ace of Space/Paul Le Hat)
With the passage of time comes responsibilities, not only with one self but with other people. Increasingly, in a world moving faster and faster towards information overload, mass observation by governments, environmental degradation, the steady collapse of 20th century capitalism and warped media saturation, some of the human race are trying to reassess and realign themselves with what is important to living in the post modern era.
This is not disillusionment, this is not nostalgia, this is not regression, this is not the age of Aquarius, and most definitely not a new religion in any shape or form. Still we must learn from the past and at the same time learn to confine our prejudices to history. Who wants to live in a new dark age? Who wants to live like skeletons? If we are to truly communicate it should be with a broader, more universal outlook in mind in a world without borders, without hierarchy, without kings or queens, without secrecy at any level.
So far it is working, but the transmissions are intermittent.

Lording it up in a World Full of Weirdos
(Ace of Space/Paul Le Hat)
A Track for all our friends and fiends in Hendon and Ashbrooke. Especially those who spend their time working for a manky bit of cutter in the middle of the North Sea.
