  Beast Bay .333 Anniversary

The Beast Bay website Posted by <Xnoubis> on Saturday June 10, @09:50PM
from the howl-howl-the-gang's-all-hair dept.

Cheth House is home to a group of magicians in Berkeley CA, whose activities include last fall's //Scales of the Serpent// series as well as The Beast Bay. On the occasion of this webzine's 1/3 year anniversary, we're having a celebratory pot luck and town hall, in order to discuss and plan future directions, at 7pm on Saturday, June 24. If you're a part of the Cheth House community, or if you're interested in participating in the development of The Beast Bay, come along, and bring something to share. For information, call (510) 525-0666.

Even if you're not in the area, this would be a great time to give us feedback regarding how we're doing with the 'zine, and to tell us how we can make The Beast Bay the best possible resource for the Thelemic community.

As a participant (albeit far too infrequently) in the Scales of the Serpent series I must thank and congratulate Xnoubis on the excellent experience. I also have found the companion website at http://www.ecsd.com/~msanborn/arcanorum very entertaining and informative. Someone should send the URL to Kenneth Grant who perpetuates the Qliphotic 'inversion' of Mem and Samekh in his characteristically odd volume, Nightside of Eden. Unforunately I won't be able to attend the celebration at Cheth House because I'll be honeymooning in Iceland (poor baby, eh?), but I'll be there in spirit. Long may the Beast wave!

I think the Beast Bay is great. There has been many a time when hours passed as I read the articles, and the comments, or at times even nicer, the arguements. (not that arguements are necessarily nice, but hey, I'm human)Please keep up the good work.
