There's a great article over at Salon reviewing the career of comics writer Alan Moore, author of Promethea, V for Vendetta, and other Thelema-tinged works. Terry Gilliam is still considering adapting Moore's Watchman into a movie, by the way, but says he “won't direct the movie if I'm not allowed to make a 12 hours film.” Before that, though, Gilliam will be filming Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, also of interest to Thelemites. < | > Related Links Articles on Art Also by Xnoubis Contact <author> The Fine Print: The following comments are owned by whoever posted them. **Re: Alan Moore** by Toby Jugg on Monday October 23, @01:59PM Excellent job bringing this important author to the thelemic public's attention. I well remember his saying in an interview that coming out as a magician was far more painful for his social standing than when he came out as a gay man - I thought this was extraordinary at the time but having been pilloried and referred to as a cultist at my last place of work, I see his point somewhat! His writings have always been inspirational for me so right glad am I that he seems to be getting some recognition - really reccomend his last novel, though the title evades me - a magickal history of Britain - excellent.
