“It is not very sensible to compare Mr. Gibran with Blake, because Blake was a genius whose every act was wrought from the white heat of passion.”—The Tank
“The name William Blake was added to the list by Patriarch Hymenaeus Beta in the Fall of 1997 e.v., based on Crowley's essay 'William Blake,' published in Oriflamme 2, Ordo Templi Orientis, 1998 e.v.”—Tau Apiryon and Helena, Red Flame No. 2 – Mystery of Mystery: A Primer of Thelemic Ecclesiastical Gnosticism, Berkeley, CA, 1995
“Every thing that lives is holy, life delights in life;
Because the soul of sweet delight can never be defil’d.
Fires inwrap the earthly globe, yet man is not consumd;
Amidst the lustful fires he walks: his feet become like brass,
His knees and thighs like silver, & his breast and head like gold.”—William Blake, America: A Prophecy

Saint of Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica
William Blake appears in no version of Liber XV, published during Aleister Crowley's lifetime. William Blake was added by Hymenaeus Beta in 1997 and is therefore a name celebrated optionally and only at performances when the full Saints Collect is read.
