Archons & War Pigs

Halliburton, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, General Electric, Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics. These are the servants of the dark archons, perpetuating armed conflict to maintain their profit margins. The leaders of these occulted corporate organizations have abandoned all hope for salvation and given their lives to Murder Inc. Do they find solace in the demons and lords of red war and black hearts? Indeed, their deal with the Devil was a great one for the Dark Prince.

One could imagine the archons like giant insectoid machines as tall as mountains sucking off the bilious hate and fear bleeding out of humanity in the throes of eternal warfare. Inside each one, strapped into the driver’s seat, is an executive. How thick must be the illusions they construct around themselves to sleep even a wink?

War is big business. Building armies, supplying weaponry, selling security and protection, destroying cities and rebuilding them… The so-called defense industry sells to all sides to maintain a perpetual state of conflict, skimming profits like blood off the surface of an oil slick.

The ethereal shadow of emotions darkens with suffering and loss, fear and isolation. Imagine the oceans of the world filling with tears while the summits of our greatest mountains glow with love and idealism. This is the aetheric landscape of humanity, higher than deep but wetter than dry. Our dreams are great and lofty, but are constantly weighed down by the burden of suffering. Human suffering is natural and necessary but only on it’s own course. It should never be commodified or monetized

War profiteers encourage conflict and violence, manipulating nations and races against each other. Just like small arms manufacturers selling guns to minority youth. Every murder brings more customers. Fear breeds like rats in cities and slums where violence is real. Media spreads the plague into the homeland and the heartland. You never know who might be your end. You should look into buying some protection…

When the war profiteers take control of the military, there are great profits to be made. Dick Cheney went from being Bush Sr’s Secretary of Defense, presiding over the first war in Iraq, to leading global engineering titan, Halliburton, after Clinton took office. He left Halliburton to become Vice President under the second Bush administration. Since his appointment Halliburton has been awarded all of the no-bid contracts for rebuilding the oil infrastructure of Iraq. They’ve also recently received a no-bid contract to expand the military prison at Guantanamo Bay. At the same time they’re establishing similar contracts in Iran. Do you see the pattern? The business of war has seized the war machine itself. The US government invades to satisfy it’s resource needs, then gives all the occupation contracts to it’s corporate leaders (who are all congressman and cabinet members anyhow). Terrorism is a marketing ploy to drum up business for the industry.

This is the ultimate form of Satanism. It is human sacrifice for mammon, plain and simple. As long as the blood flows, the archons will be fed and the war pigs will take the worldly rewards. Imagine the orgone of this suffering and death, the collective aetheric smog choking the spirit of humanity. It’s a heavy weight dragging us down, impeding our evolution and liberation. Meanwhile, executive teams dance under Molok at Bohemian Grove plotting the next invasion.

The current Iraq war is unimaginably biblical. The West returns to the cradle of civilization, spilling blood into the mighty Tigris and Euphrates rivers. Like all deaths, it’s a return to the womb. War rages in the Holy Lands, as it always has. If it’s a new Crusade, a battle of mythologies, then our captains will surely end up like Spielberg’s Nazi’s opening the Ark of the Covenant. Their greedy eyes will be burned away by the light of the Absolute.

Though perhaps the atrocities of war pigs are necessary to the proper unfolding of the human drama. Maybe it’s just a phase. The blatant abuses of Halliburton might be the required shock to the system, waking us all up enough to start reeling in our government. Maybe it’s a great sacrifice to the the dying gods, laying a carpet of fire for the radiant child of the new aeon, the Child of Peace.

The word “hippie” has been sadly denigrated and confounded, rebranded by conservatives and progressives alike to be synonymous with dirty, ineffective stoners. But hippies, it should be noted, stood up to the Vietnam war in a time when nobody questioned the US government. Hippies were the ones who started shouting about the military industrial complex. Just 10 years ago this term was considered conspiratorial. Now it’s a given fact.

But most importantly, hippies elevated the goal of Peace into the mainstream of western society. It was a movement that informed every other aspect of the 60’s. Civil Rights, another laudable accomplishment of the hippie generation, was simply peace and equality between all races. The Equal Rights movement sought peace and equality between sexes. Peace and equality is to the military industry what health and fitness is to the tobacco industry. Bad for business.

And maybe this is our ace up the sleeve. If the aetheric seas of humanity are darkened by suffering, then produce compassion. Bring the waters to greater clarity by cultivating peace and equality in every occasion. Fear cowers under community and connection. We are social creatures, destined for love. The most evil among us are victims of love’s absence in their lives. Pitiless parents and sadistic peers beat evil into the tormented soul. Those who know compassion, who know peace and equality and optimism and hope, make it manifest further in their world.

It’s like there’s this balance within every heart weighing Hate against Love. Every experience in some way tips the balance. Some swell with radiance, others fall into darkness. We can only strive to cultivate love in our lives if we are to combat the archons. When one is at ease, positive karma proceeds from will. Negativity is absorbed and transmuted, stalled and diminished. Karma, after all, is simply the inertia of one’s actions. It’s what tips the balance of the global heart.

I had this vision of death as a boat. Through our lives our boats are at port, tied to the dock. With our actions, our thoughts and dreams, hopes and fears, we load our boat, day in and day out, preparing for the journey ahead. Finally at death, it’s time to set sail off into the Great Sea. As we sail, we slowly unburden our vessel, jettisoning the cargo of our lives into the deep blue waters of creation. Imagine all of the millions upon millions of boats plying the tides, getting lighter and lighter as the sea fills with their memories received and absorbed into the saline solvent of the Great Mother…

Wouldn’t we live more lightly if we considered every thought and action as a memory to be offered to the Sea of Life? This is the greatest weapon against the archons.

It’s funny that someone should mention Ginsberg, since the article itself and it’s reference to the hippy peace movement as the first ‘culture’ to question the government made me immediately think about the Beat generation…

Cultural institutions, and indeed cultures themselves, are like spirits. In the same way that our bodies are made from the complex interactions and innate tendencies of dead material created in the furnaces of distant suns trillions of years ago, these ephemeral, insanely-complex semi-sentient entities are created from complex interactions of these ‘human beings’ and their innate tendencies.

They even have eyes, and ears, and cell-like defense mechanisms, and their own avatars. Every time someone perpetuates a stereotype (and not just typical stereotypes.. I mean EVERYTHING, from pouring coffee in the morning to driving somewhere), these cultural institutions-cum-sentient things maintain, and possibly grow. Every time you go to a corporate pizza place and talk to a kid working there, and he does what he’s supposed to do, you’re actually talking to an avatar of the Dominos Corporate Entity itself, with all the usual limitations of an avatar in both mythology and fantasy. Every time the mainstream forms an “opinion” about an aspect of counterculture, and the following reactions from the mainstream, it’s like a cell fighting off a disease. (this last part makes me scared of counterculture becoming more intelligent or organized ever; going by that analogy, we’re just working on better and better innoculations for the Western Humanity gestalt consciousness-spirit being.)

When we transcend the confines and ephemeral diseases of culture, and embrace an intellectual world culture, we will begin to avoid the wars and political unrest and disproportionate socioeconomic systems. Culture is just the next step up from rolling around in the mud with dumb animals; it’s still bound to the conflict and dominance laws of nature, even as it tries to transcend “the wild“. Massive societal intellectual internalization (as well as a redefinition of “intellect” that breaks down the White Tower and stops excluding unorthodox paradigms) is the only way to master these ephemeral gestalt consciousnesses we call “culture” and “institutions” from perpetuating themselves.

Last sentence should say:

Massive societal intellectual internalization (as well as a redefinition of “intellect” that breaks down the White Tower and stops excluding unorthodox paradigms) is the only way to master these ephemeral gestalt consciousnesses we call “culture” and “institutions”, and keep them from perpetuating themselves.

Murder, Inc. rules these corporation? I didn’t know Ja Rule had such power. What will 50 Cent do now?

Comment by never — 8/12/2005 @ 7:10 am

Never, you’re too hip for me. I jadn’t even thought of Ja Rule. I was thinking of Metallica’s “Damage Inc.”.

t0tem7, I have similar ideas about culture needing to evolve and go global. Otherwise you tend to get the same tribal conflicts we’ve had for millenia. Unfortunately culture often means “the other”, which makes most human apes get all wiggy and scared. The upside of globalization (which at it’s core is just the inevitabiliity of the information age and a predecessor to true self-awareness as a unified species) is that cultures continue to mix and merge breaking down barriers and generally making everyone a lot more similar than different. We can all still have our unique styles and affiliations but it’s more about the uniqueness of the individual rather than how different one race is from another or one culture from another.

Comment by lvx23 — 8/12/2005 @ 12:26 pm

i wonder how culture can go global without settling for the lowest common denominator of the American pop culture that is being exported round the globe… though it seems that there’s a fair amount of resistance building up to this export; the peculiar love-hate relationship with American consumer kitsch is weighing on the hate side (or perhaps that’s just my hope).

… but what i really was wondering about was the idea of the Enemy / like Moloch, the War Pigs, the non-corporeal corporations. Is seeing the world in terms of war feeding the war machine / is it “playing their game” to conceptualize this struggle in this way? Or is it a necessary step towards recognizing what’s going on? I personally, find it useful to conceptualize these entities as insectisoid machines. I’ve always thought of Cheney & co. as tentacles; heads on a hydra. But then I start imagining myself in some kind of resistance struggle against demonic entities & before I know it I am caught in the language of war also– which I find turns me towards zealousness or insanity or hopelessness, etc., as dangerous as the people I despise– what is to be done? Laugh a lot, I guess; I won’t deny there’s a rather Satanic war going on, but I won’t make it my singular paradigm of viewing events. (That ability to hold many realities as simultaneously true has saved me more times than I can count.)

Comment by genie — 8/12/2005 @ 2:56 pm

Laugh a lot, I guess

Genie, this is the same conclusion I’ve come to. It’s hard to imagine positioning one against the war machine and feeling in any way empowered. How do you win confronting such a monster? I think the point of my post isn’t so much to paint the world as fodder for war pigs but to show just how important simple, practical compassion and light are to our own well-being. I think this path is much more effective then fighting war with war. Ultimatley, business and militarism are old games being played out to their inevitable end. They are counter-evolutionary and counter-productive. As boundaries between people continue to dissolve war will be more and more unpalatable. It’s all a process of sloughing off our vestigial tails and acting like truly self-aware humans.

What do you guys think about Bohemian Grove, the get-together for the Kings of the World?

Has some footage shot by a Channel 4 invesitigative reporter which shows a big stone owl, a fire sacrifice (symbolic) and a lot of very rich, powerful people running around in red robes.

The footage is legitimate enough for British TV to show it, and as far as I know has not been disclaimed.

It’s none of the above. It’s what WE would do. Some of us. Everyone elses supports it, the indifference of good men and all that. And a small handful actually thing the whole thing is pretty fucked. Even smaller part of that handful does anything about it. It’s all good, though.

skatche, my definition of real satanism is placing matter before spirit and placing self-interest before the collective good. Satan & YHWH are just figureheads (and scapegoats) for the placement of human will.

“They” believe that they are preparing the world for the second coming of Christ. That’s what it seems to come down to, infuriatingly banal as it is. They have to provoke the second coming by destroying the world. Global death posture or what Crowley would call Aeon of Osiris corn god “IAO” thinking. That is, Typical Male Orgasmic Response Curve Get Your Rocks Off Thinking.

I’ve been doing a lot of reading on the Crusades recently. “They” have been playing this game for a long time now. The Crusades were an early Western experiment with imperialism (although let’s not forget that Islam had already been Jihading in the Eighth and Ninth Centuries). “Taking back the Holy Land” is deep within the race consciousness (on both sides some historians have cited this narrative as a precursor of class struggle narratives). But the eschatology that they were working on that the retaking of Jerusalem would destroy Islam and prompt the Rapture is STILL the story that these people tell themselves. This is their magical system save the world by destroying it. And they will continue playing the game and slaughtering kids for the Megaton Moloch Machine unless they are taught a new one. Of course, let’s not forget that one of the Crusades was against the Cathars in the Languedoc region, an important “alternative” heresy and a group which we may well owe for giving us the concept of *love*. (Not sure about that one but the Troubadours were influenced by the Cathars, who probably got the concept from the Templars’ cultural exchange with Islam, possibly from Sufism. The Templars were quite likely the military wing of the Cathars. That’s a positive alternative and they were burned alive for it.

As far as the apocalypse, take this:

“Crowned emperor in 1155, two years later he had inaugurated the term Sacrum Imperium, ‘Holy Empire,’ and then in 1165 arranged for the canonization of Charlemagne by his own anti-pope. In that year too Fredereick had discussed with Henry II of England the possibility of a joint expedition to Palestine. Frederick saw aid for the Holy Land as a natural function of Holy Empire. Christ had been both king and priest, his kingly office in secular affairs devolving to the Holy Empire, his priestly office to the popes. A letter from Pope Gregory reporting the fall of Jerusalem and urging that rulers should be aflame with the Holy Spirit to recover it, only reinforced his intentions. Throughout his life, according to historian Peter Munz, Frederick had believed that ‘the ultimate… task of the Emporer of Christendom was to protect the Church and defend the holy places in Palestine against the infidels.’

“With his exalted view of the imperial office Frederick must have been impressed by the semi-mystical ideas about history and the end of time current among contemporary churchmen, such as the historical writer Bishop Otto of Friesling, and mystics like Hildegard of Bingen. Many believed that the last age of the world was at hand and that it would be inaugurated when the last emperor laid his crown, sceptre and empire upon the altar of the temple in Jerusalem, his work as defender of the Church discharged. There would then follow the predestined reign of the Antichrist when all the forces of evil emerged in triumph to be struck down by Jesus Christ Himself in his Second Coming. We know that the Ludus de Antichristo, a compelling stage presentation of this theme, was performed in Frederick’s presence early in his reign. Hildegard had a vision of the severed demon head of the Antichrist upon the knees of the naked and bleeding figure of the Church. Otto saw the events of his time leading up to the Emperor Frederick’s reign as a preperation for the expedition to the Holy City.” (Hindley, Geoffrey. The Crusades. New York: Carroll & Graf, 2003.)

…and compare with Ronald Reagan’s eschatology (Reagan is patron saint of course of the Right and the one who began the struggle leading up to the “end times” in the view of the Christian Right, a Holy War which Bush continues):

“Holly Sklar, in Reagan, Trilateralism, and the Neoliberals (1986) writes, “For many rollbackers, Armageddon is the pre-ordained preface to the Second Coming and its theocracy of Christian believers. Ronald Reagan is the Believer-in-Chief.” Sklar quotes Governor Reagan's remarks in 1971:

“‘In the 38th chapter of Ezekiel, it says that the land of Israel will come under attack by the armies of the ungodly nations and it says that Libya will be among them. Do you understand the significance of that? Libya has now gone communist, and that's a sign that the day of Armageddon isn't that far off…Everything is falling into place…Ezekiel tells us that Gog, the nation that will lead all of the other powers of darkness against Israel, will come out of the north…now that Russia has become communist and atheistic, now that Russia has set itself against God. Now it fits the description of Gog perfectly.’

“Reagan continued to believe these prophecies into his presidency. In 1983, President Reagan told People magazine, “theologians…have said that never…has there ever been a time in which so many of the prophecies are coming together. There have been times in the past when people thought the end of the world was coming and so forth, but never anything like this” (quoted in Sklar, 1986).”

(From this article on the apocalyptic thinking of the Right, which is WELL worth reading and re-reading:

At ANY rate, my point is “as always” Love Is The Law. This is the Aeon of Horus, with the Aeon of Ma’at hovering concurrently for anybody with the will and imagination to access it ( Whether you look at the world through a filter that incorporates Thelemic ideas or not, I believe wholeheartedly that it is of the UTMOST importance of the esoteric community to reject apocalyptic thinking. This is what they were up to in the 60s also. Horus is the constantly growing child. Star baby in 2001. Prolonged sex for ecstasis instead of instant release. Renewable energy. Sustainable environment. This moment as eternity. Always growing. Always learning. A child at play with the universe.

NOT rebirth through destruction!

That’s their game. They play to win. We play to enjoy the game. And we need to develop new games.

Because “sacrifice to the corn god” is fucking… BLEAHH.

I do see that. However, I find it useful to point out that one man’s apocolypse represents another man’s paradise. Further, the idea that history contains no massive “breaks” (eschatons or whatever) seems a bit Pollyanna-ish to me- too close to Liberal / Marxist ideas of “progress” rather than cyclical views of history.

I’d really like to see you write an article in E-Prime some time…

Comment by Lucifer Benway — 8/13/2005 @ 9:38 pm

Excellent observations, Jason. I’m a bit more cynical though. I think the real seats of power don’t really care about the Second Coming but are very good at manipulating those who do. That being said, who knows just who the “real seats of power” are. Maybe the RoP’s are really Molochian apocalypticists sitting in their Star Chamber manipulating BushCo to bring on the rebuilding of the temple. Regardless, I absolutely agree that there is a need to unencumber ourselves from old aeon death postures. As you note, life is a ceaseless dynamic everflowing at play dancing goddess, not just a quick run to the jerk of a noose and a final orgasmic squirt into terminal senescence. The beliefe that nature is an evil distraction holding us back from heavenly glory is probably the most destructive meme ever unleashed on the planet.

Lucifer, I was weaned on RAW and have done my share of Korzybski. Believe me, I would like to see more people adopt “Maybe Logic” which is essentially the distilled version of e-prime. Right now I’m a bit more interested in speaking like I’m <i>making truth</i> rather than merely offering suggestions. Think of it as my own magickal act, weaving myths into reality (hopefully). Sure I could say “maybe the corporations that appear to be profiting off of perpetual warfare might be feeding psychic complexes we could call ‘archons’…” but that really doesn’t have the same oomph as “these are the servants of the dark archons, perpetuating armed conflict to maintain their profit margins“. I rather enjoy playing with language and inflicting my own story on the local audience. The potential downside of e-prime, IMHO, is that it removes emotion from language and thought. And I’m not sure I’m ready to shed that part of me yet, especially when the masses are really only responding to reptilian language anyhow. I think I can affect more minds by speaking inemotional terms. Besides, I write what I feel and these days I’m pretty emotional about the world.

LVX23 you should be applauded. What an astonishing and beautiful piece of writing.

Comment by John Harrigan — 8/14/2005 @ 4:09 pm

LVX: Agree with you, the ultimate seat of power is just “control for control’s sake.” Burroughs, “control is controlled by its need to control.” I think that there is a split in Washington between the people who believe this story and those who don’t. I think that Bush and Condoleezza Rice, say, believe the Second Coming rap. Karl Rove and Dick Cheney, however, are playing the power game for itself. Who knows what the stories these people tell themselves to justify and necessitate their actions are. Maybe it’s as simple as “America on top at whatever cost necessary.” If you were staring down the barrel of a century dominated by China, India and the European Union, maybe you’d do the same. ‘Course, we’re all staring down that barrel and some of us have other ideas about how things should play out. For whatever reason, though, the “Second Coming” rebirth-through-apocalypse rap has been a recurring power narrative over the last 1,000 years, and it was reactivated with the Reagan presidency and kicked into “crunk mode” with Bushes Sr. and especially Jr. (Sorry, had to.) And it is <i>certainly</i> a story that a large part of America believes—just look at the success of the “Left Behind” books and film (and I used to like Kirk Cameron… fuckers…)—they believe that Bush was chosen by God to lead the country against the infidels or whatever the fuck it is. Power needs a narrative to operate even if it only exists for its own sake, and this story never ends no matter how old it is.

Lucifer: Not sure what you’re saying here. What is history? Where is it? Does it have a character of its own? Who says? Can you clarify this please? What, for you, can you point to as a “break” in history?

Comment by Jason Louv — 8/14/2005 @ [4:53 pm

I come to the magic!al perspective from the linguistic perspective, magic! through e-prime. Yr perspective seems well-considered and you certainly seem to achieve yr goal. I find myself in a place right now where I see langauge manipulated to serve any purpose whatsoever and find myself suspicious of language which makes broad or universalizing statements- including the ones that I make. I didn’t mean the comment as a sweeping condemnation of yr writing or anything of the sort- just that I find myself interested in what you would have to say using e-prime, a more “honest language” than even its antecedent.

I realize that the comment seems a bit abstract and unclear- a consequence of commenting while at work. “History” seems like a bit of a spook, and I shall take the opportunuty to rephrase my point in more phenomenological terms. “Paradigm shift” seems a better phrase to me than “break in history” altho these do not always seem so benign as the term might imply. Both literally and metaphorically I can see (and please- forgive the simplicity inherent in treating any or each of the following as sudden, stocatto “events” rather than dynamnic processes) the fall of communism, the World Wars, the fall of the Roman Empire, the Thirty Years Wars, &c. as mini and not-so-mini Epochalypses (to use my current favorite neologism). This of course ignores completely catastrophism which claims that very real and phenomenological “breaks in history” (i.e. the loss of a written cultural record) have occured time and time again. The jury still seems out on this to me.

Does the fall of the Roman Empire represent an “apocolypse”? In some sense, yes, but probably not if you identify as a gnostic-type Christian at the time. The end of one world heralds the beginning of a new one (at least so far) and what Christians call “signs of end times” or whatever the fuck seems just like regular old American life to me.

In the final analysis wanting rebirth without death (“destruction”) seems as useless and frustrating as wanting pleasure without pain, light without dark, &c. And, as always, I probably don’t know what the hell I’m talking about.

Comment by Lucifer Benway — 8/14/2005 @ 7:43 pm

I don’t neccesarily see “archons” or “evil men” or, other than the obvious, great conspiracies… mostly just a country, and a mainstream modern world, dominated by some hardcore mindfuck memes. The people in the power positions are just the men (and one or two women) who embody these ideas, from a combination of genetic predisposition and cultural upbringing. America in particular has a metric shitload of cultural baggage and historical momentum perpetuating some of these damaging social-ephemerals.. look at the “sanctity” of the Constitution, the attitude of infallibility concerning the “Great Democratic Nation“, the “things are bad - fuel the economy and we can fix it!” cop-out, as well as the afforementioned “nature is Lucifer keeping us from Heaven!” concept (that IS still around), all the PR and nationalistic bullshit that keeps some of these concepts going… no wonder economists and politicians and various others here are concerned about us keeping up with China and the EU.

What we really need to do is get people into the habit of actually questioning some of these persisitent cultural icon-ideas… instead of getting flustered and pissy when someone says anything negative about (America/war/troops/Constitution/gay marriage/no gay marriage/democracy/Touched By an Angel), teach people to react intellectually rather than Pavlovian. Yeah, that’s a big freaking step, but throw a couple viruses out into the media spotlight, get a few people to perpetuate it among clique cultures, and in a few years we can have a new trend, a new attitude.

I think its about entrainment - there’s so much moving in one direction that everything else gets swept along. The hippies did their best to become a dam in the flow, to mar the flow. I have to assume that there’s a way to bring this back into the mainstream, because it isn’t about counterculture anymore, it’s about meta-ing up above culture into an environment where metaphor acquires substance enough to manipulate back.

Wu, Interesting catch on Columbia. In DC at certain times and dates, after dark, some of the statues on various buildings downtown near the Mall are lit up in red, not white, lights. It’s spooky.

Jason, excellent points about power–your suggestion about the power/control narrative, the “story” they tell–Fuck, their story sucks. It’s boring, this incoherent “Jesus is coming!” crap. And Reagan–it’s just so hokey. The success of that story mirrors the willingness of moviegoers to drop $10 a piece for the next poop-joke laced comic travesty. Xian apocalypses sound cool at first, kind of like the idea behind Heavy Metal, but like Metal-in-Theory-and-Practice (e.g., Metallica), this c. 1983 Jack Chick stuff that Reagan-worshippers jack off over bores the piss out of me. It’s a popular story because anyone can ape it, like its some sort of Mad Lib or Networking game: “Gog comes from the east! Russia is communist! Libya has gone Red, therefore…” A simpleton can feel smart playing the “Who is the Army of Magog this week?” game… bah, sophistry. It doesn’t even have a suprise ending. I know we can do better than this. Which reminds me.

Humans in large part remain driven by the reptilian brain. It’s easy to guide them with shiny promises and fearful proclamations. We’re still collectively hooked on the death and resurrection show, living in fear of The End always right around the corner. Will it be a car-jacker, or a terrorist, or God himself to drop the hammer an smash your precious incarnation? Horus is my bitch (or rather I’m his). Death is an illusion, dig? We’re on the edge of obtaining species self-awareness. Everyday your cells die but you go on existing because you identify with the collective body rather than the individual. Jack into the collective and become immortal (for at least as long as the species is around, then you’re just data on a dusty hard-drive spinning like an old Tibetan prayer wheel…). Point being, apocalyptica is a control narrative that keeps us hapless apes in line. Your rulers may be fallable but God ain’t. And you’re rulers ain’t if they’ve got God’s endorsement.

Oh, and thanks for the props, John & Wu. Too kind. :)

My observation of the Universe convinces me that there are beings of intelligence and power of a far higher quality than anything we can conceive of as human; that they are not necessarily based on the cerebral and nervous structures that we know, and that the one and only chance for mankind to advance as a whole is for individuals to make contact with such Beings.

Sorry about the last empty post… my browser’s acting up with script stuff lately. Meant to point out that the quote I posted is from Lovecraft, in reponse to some of the stuff about ephemeral, independent social-consciousnesses and archons and all that jive.

t0tem: Absofuckinglutely.

Of course, that’s “their” story too.

I just ran across this quote over at Freeman’s blog, linked from wu’s Columbia reference further up in the comments thread. Synchroliscious!

I suggest that there has never been a world war as we understand it, Hitler practiced the same magic and the Bushes funded him. These are mass sacrifices to the gods. As a side note, Sirius is symbolized by the brotherhood by a blazing star, NASA uses a stylized blazing star with their shuttles Columbia and Atlantis. I suggest that the nephilim are from Sirius. I visited the mason temple in Philly. In the egyptian rooms, the ceiling displayed numerous blazing stars, but most unusual was the use of the dogon’s symbol for Sirius. Could the masons be working with fish-people as H.P. Lovecraft has suggested?

So in this line of reasoning, are the Nephilim the same as the Archons, or are they two polar forces in conflict?

Ooo, aren’t you hard. Nary a Pollyannaish pigtail in sight.

Sounds like a great discussion. Can I join in?

I’ve just finished a long debate with a Freemason on conspiracy It went no where. I feel these things are so obvious. I mean how do you account for 51% of our presidents belonging to the Freemasons or Hitler’s use of esoteric symbols. Now we are on the forefront of a whole new paradigm. We can’t ignore the spiritual aspect of life any longer. I see the brotherhood go into Irag under the banner of “shock and awe” and know this is to mean shekinah(divine presence)while suddam claims to be nebuchanezzer reincarnated(ever wonder why Bush felt it necessary to change the villian of 911 to suddam?) and they drop the “moab” bomb. The military goes in an destroys the artifacts of the temple of nanna in Ur. Or, how do we explain egyptian flt 990, which left NY then instead of flying to egypt, goes to wright-patterson(this is the 1st commercial flt to land there) and picks up a lead JPL scientist, leaves there and goes to patrick to pick up 33 egyptian military, flies back to NY and then takes a nose dive into the ocean. They claim pilot suicide. As this goes on the Freemasons cancel the capping of the great pyramid and finally Clinton announces, it is a rising sun while they make a light so bright it appears that the sun is rising in the west. England had already burnt the river styx and Jerusalem released the columba doves under the sign on the pentagram. World wide conspiracy or just coincidence?

“They” require our consent. None of this works without our help. Let’s find our new paradigm and live it. If you want to be free, fly.

Global culture is more than just pop-culture. Theatre and Opera and dance certainly are all culture and are global. With international festivals and productions that travel the globe, culture spreads without the commercialism of MTV. Theatre, too, is a powerful medium. You meet and engage with archetypes, deamons, angels and all manner of spirits as a matter of course. Grant Morrison wove a sigil into a comic book. There are more ways than one to disseminate ideas into the cultural mix. The best answer to war is love. But love is an act. How do YOU act? And what will you do when the curtain comes down?

I don’t really understand the need for personal insults or sarcasm, particularly when I’m only attempting to make a joke. If you have a problem with something I said several posts back I suggest that you engage that content instead of something I’ve said that took three seconds of thought- indeed I made a very thoughtful response to yr attack on me above (yrs is 20, mine is 21- I suggest you read it if you’ve not already and just chosen to ignore it). Indeed, I find it curious and a bit telling that you’ve chosen to engage me on the level that you have and even more telling that yr still stuck on my description of yr earlier post as “Pollyannaish.”

If something that I say bothers you there surely seem better ways of dealing with it than snarky remarks about something said flippantly. In meantime- I’ll be cleaning my cache of assault weapons in my Montana bunker.

PS: If yr not above my help I’ll be in London inside of two weeks with copious amounts of free time to helping get Ultraculture off the ground there.

Comment by Lucifer Benway — 8/19/2005 @ 10:45 am

Hi Lucifer,

I don’t live in London anymore, but would have certainly been up for drinks if I did.

Sorry if I came off as condescending. I don’t have a lot of time for the fantasy-world “hard man” shit that sometimes goes on here or on any occult message board, especially in the context of the discussion, although if your comment was a joke than mine was too, and I’ll only take it as personally as you choose to take mine.

Haven’t checked in on the board in a long time, or would have responded earlier. Good luck in London and I’d be honored if you wanted to participate in the form that Ultraculture takes there.
