Liber LI The Lost Continent

T.S.'s transcriber’s note from the Nu Isis version:

This text of Liber LI has been transcribed from two TSS in the O.T.O. archives, one from the collection of H.P. Smith, the other formerly in the possession of Phyllis Seckler. The latter (which appears to be later than and derive from the other) includes an introduction (here omitted) by W.T. Smith (Frater 132) and internal evidence gives it a date some time between 1951 and 1962. Both TSS are more or less fair copies; the second contains some handwritten corrections of typist’s errors, some marginal notes apparently by Karl Germer (Frater Saturnus) and Greek has been handwritten in (in a different hand to the marginalia).

Footnotes are by Crowley unless otherwise indicated.

Liber LI has been published under the title Atlantis: Malton, Ontario: Dove Press, 1970 (with a brief introduction by Kenneth Anger); in a paperback edition by Morton Press, England in 1974; and in two different editions in the 1980s (Gingko Press / OTO, 1985; Stellar Visions, 1986). A new edition was recently (Summer 2003 e.v.) said to be in preparation by the OTO.
